TonersSkincare Toners are specifically designed to cleanse the skin and shrink pores on the face and prepare the skin to receive a moisturiser. Skincare Toners are of benefit to all skin types. They comfort and remove any cleanser residue on a dry/sensitive skin, whilst toners for oilier skins are designed to shrink the pores and prevent bacteria from entering. There are many formulas, some contain alcohol and as such are more astringent on the skin, and some are more gentle in formula, using natural products, for example witch hazel, to achieve the toning effect. |
